ChinaJoy 2017 is taking place in Shanghai at the end of the month (27-29th July) and the GameAnalytics team will be present as a proud member of the Mobvista family. Come find us at booth W4, M102. ChinaJoy is one of the most important events in the digital entertainment industry and attracts more than 60,000 visitors from all over the world every year. We’re excited to take part!
Why attend ChinaJoy?
The 600M gamers in China generated $24.6 billion in 2016, making the country the gaming capital of the world, accounting for an impressive 25% of the entire global market.
APAC – and China more specifically – forms a large majority of the entire global market. That’s why we’ve decided to be present at ChinaJoy; to consolidate our presence and to serve the needs of developers working in China, or of those wanted to break into this growing market. It’s a great opportunity to introduce our platform to the APAC region, and for us to learn more about this exciting and intriguing gaming community.
How is the Chinese market set to mature?
There is a huge appetite for mobile gaming content in China, with analysts expecting revenues up to $129 billion by 2020, with mobile gaming generating 51% of the global revenue. Mobile will overtake console and PC games by then. Chinese gamers are going to expect more content of a higher quality going forward. As a developer, being aware of the behaviours and habits of your players across the continents will undoubtedly give you the edge. Moreover, detailed geographic player analysis could determine the success or failure of your game.
How GameAnalytics will help you crack China?
For those reasons, we’re working hard to continue adding features to our platform and learn more about the needs of the different regional markets. We’re the only analytics provider with dedicated server infrastructure inside of China, enabling you to get quick and accurate insight for this market. What’s more, our advanced slicing and dicing will allow you to drill down and compare any and all dimensions, including device type, user behaviour, and geographic region. Essentially, this means even more granular insight, even more quickly than ever before.
GameAnalytics is used by more than 40,000 developers worldwide reaching 350M Monthly Active Users and counting. We are developing cool new features and our SDKs currently cover every major game engine and platform. We strongly believe that a great and reliable tool is crucial for every studio wanting to crack the global market. From coding to design, it’s fundamental to track all of your essential KPIs to increase the probability of success, and that’s why we’re here!
