GameAnalytics has evolved. With the new IQ Suite, we're transforming years of data expertise into a connected set of tools that help studios of every size understand their players, refine their strategy, and grow with confidence.
Fourteen years ago, we started with mobile analytics. Today, we're an ecosystem. What began as a way to understand player behavior has grown into a complete suite designed to help developers, marketers, and growth teams take their games further. Four specialized products give every studio the kind of power once reserved for the biggest publishers, without the overhead.
MarketIQ is one of those tools. It levels the playing field by putting world-class market and ad intelligence in the hands of any studio, whether you're a small indie or a global publisher.
Compared to other tools like Sensor Tower or Apptica, Ad Insights offers more reliable creative data per game. The top creatives surfaced are truly the top performers, and the margin of error is noticeably lower. It’s helped us become a creative engine. I wouldn’t be able to do my job without it. - Maxime Besson, Growth Creative Strategist at Voodoo
What is MarketIQ?
In a world where trends shift faster than campaigns can launch, MarketIQ gives growth and UA teams the visibility they need to move with precision. It's not just about tracking ads. It's about understanding how the entire market behaves, from store performance to creative trends to competitor strategy.
By combining Store Intelligence and Ad Insights, MarketIQ brings every layer of market visibility into one place. Whether you're tracking competitor store performance, analyzing creative trends, or hunting for whitespace in your genre, MarketIQ helps you identify what works, when to act, and how to grow before the rest of the industry catches on.
Features from market overview to creative deep dive
MarketIQ is free to use, with Store Intelligence and Benchmarks included from day one. MarketIQ Pro, starting at $299/month billed annually, with a free trial, extends those capabilities with Ad Insights, a creative and competitor research engine. Here's how they fit together, with short video walkthroughs of the Pro capabilities.
Track market trends with Store Intelligence
Store Intelligence keeps your finger on the pulse of the app stores. Monitor top charts, spot trending games, and track your favorite titles or studios across the App Store and Google Play. It aggregates and analyzes data from millions of apps, giving you visibility into downloads, revenue trends, ratings, and store ranking movements over time.
It's the missing link between what players see in the stores and what performance data reveals behind the scenes, the fastest way to spot rising genres, evaluate the impact of feature placements, and watch how competitors position and update their games.
Pro: Get set up with Ad Insights
Ad Insights, available with MarketIQ Pro, is a searchable library of thousands of real ads, filtered by genre, format, studio, region, and more. It's where UA and creative teams go to learn from what's working in the market and turn that intel into winning campaigns.
Setup takes a couple of minutes:
- Go to Organization Settings → MarketIQ and assign Ad Insights seats to yourself and your teammates
- Hover over the MarketIQ menu and select Ad Insights
- Open Dashboard, click Add Smart Dashboard, and search for any app or game (your top competitor is a good place to start)
Your Smart Dashboard fills with ranking trends, new releases, ad strategy breakdowns, top creatives, and performance metrics, giving you a working view of your competitive landscape in a few clicks.
Pro: Find and analyze winning creatives
Once your dashboards are running, Ad Insights gives you a full toolkit to dig into creative trends and understand why certain ads outperform others. You can filter creatives by game monetization type (IAP, IAA, or both), ad network (100+ supported), engagement metrics like reposts, comments, and likes, and audience filters such as gender and age. Growth analysis surfaces creatives going viral before they peak.
Creative Group helps you build campaigns informed by what's working at scale, should you lead with video and follow with a playable, or open with an image and close with a rewarded ad? Creative Group shows you sequencing patterns from top performers across the industry. The dedicated Playable Ads section gives you access to a library of 30,000+ playable creatives you can interact with in real time, perfect for inspiration when designing your own. Smart Creative Recommendations pulls every creative from similar titles into one view, search a game or app to instantly see images and videos, spot winning patterns, and use them to inform your next campaign. Got a reference image or video instead of a title? Use Image or Video Search to find ads that match.

Pro: Run end-to-end competitor research
Spotting a creative trend is one thing. Understanding the broader market behind it is what turns insight into strategy. Ad Insights supports a five-step research workflow that takes you from market overview to actionable competitor intel:
- Scan the market with Top Charts. Explore high-performing apps across downloads, revenue, promotion, and store rankings to identify standout titles in your space.
- Spot a game worth investigating. Click into any fast riser or consistent top performer to dive deeper.
- Analyze performance with Download and Revenue Data. Open the game's profile to see how it's tracked over time, compare monetization models, and benchmark against your own performance. Use App Comparison to compare multiple games in one view.
- Break down their ad distribution strategy. Ad Distribution shows you which networks they rely on, where they're winning geographically, and who they're targeting. Audience Analysis is especially powerful during early ideation; it helps you spot whitespace in the market. Use the Impression Estimate Index for device-only data, or the Creative Index to include both devices and ad libraries.
- Identify games with overlapping audiences. Similar Audience Apps surfaces titles your target audience also engages with; many of which won't be on your radar yet. Teams at Voodoo rely on this daily to spot hidden competitors and emerging titles.
Power-user tips for creative and market research
A few small habits make a big difference once you're working in Ad Insights every day:

- Use the deduplication view to group near-identical images and videos so you can focus on the unique creatives actually driving performance.
- Favorite the apps and ads most relevant to you. They'll be one click away instead of buried behind a search.
- Save your go-to filters to instantly surface the data and insights you rely on most.

The winning ratio of ads has increased significantly. When I think of our previous processes and the winning ratio, we see great improvements. - Shehroz Ali, COO at Arcadian Lab
How Voodoo built a creative engine with Ad Insights
When Voodoo's creative team needed more than inspiration, they turned to Ad Insights to uncover which ads were actually driving results. Traditional ad libraries left them guessing — Ad Insights let them filter by impressions, publisher spend, and share of voice to identify the top performers. That shift moved them from guesswork to strategy: deconstructing winning campaigns and fueling new ideas with confidence.
Now, MarketIQ sits at the core of Voodoo's creative workflow. Identify trends, analyze why they work, adapt them into briefs, test with precision. Maxime Besson, Growth Creative Strategist, reviews ten times more ads per hour, and briefs carry more weight thanks to data-backed recommendations.
